Commissions
Commissioning a portrait is a straight forward process. I usually meet the sitter or commissioner to discuss the various options for the setting and pose and make quick drawings to establish the best of these options.
More often than not I use the home environment of the sitter but any setting can be considered.
When the composition has been decided on I will take photographs/ work from life depending on the availability of the sitter
Should you have an existing image for me to reproduce as an oil painting, I would be happy for you to send it to me for approval.
