Commission a Portrait

Portrait painting is at the heart of my work. Each commission is a collaboration, a chance to, create not only a likeness, but also a true sense of presence, character and individuality. Whether it’s a personal portrait, a family painting, or a posthumous commission, I approach every portrait with the same care, attention, and respect.
I work in oils, using traditional portrait painting techniques. Portraits can be created from life sittings in your home, or through a combination of sittings and photographic reference. I travel across the UK to work with clients, making the process as comfortable and convenient as possible.
Portrait Commission Prices​

Head and shoulders portraits start from £3,000. Prices increase for double or group/family portraits, for three-quarter or full-length compositions, and for more detailed backgrounds.
Pencil and charcoal portraits begin at £450.

Commissioning a Portrait

Having a painted portrait created is a personal and lasting way to honour someone special. Many of my clients choose commissions to celebrate family, mark important milestones, or create a legacy to pass down through generations.
